Cab and Chassis  The meaning of the word chassis, in automotive terms, defines the vehicles frame plus the “running gear”.

The structural support in a vehicle is called the chassis. A person’s structural support, the skeleton, is also good for displaying all the nice exterior bits in the same way a car’s body work/coachwork can be displayed on the chassis. A vehicle’s body (sometimes referred to as “coachwork”), which is usually not necessary for integrity of the structure, is built on the chassis to complete the vehicle.

cab/chassis is obviously the chassis with a cab attached, and is most often a term used by commercial vehicle manufacturers who build the chassis up and then attach the cab to it. The cab/chassy is then usually bought and used by others as a base to build onto – their own specialized body. Motor homes, fire engines, ambulances, trucks, tractors etc, are all examples of a vehicle comprising of a cab fitted to the bare chassis frame, and then a specialised body fitted to it

Campervan Self-propelled vehicle that provides both transport and sleeping accommodation.

campervan (or camper van), sometimes referred to as a campercaravanette, or motor caravan, is a self-propelled vehicle that provides both transport and sleeping accommodation. The term mainly describes vans that have been fitted out, often with a coachbuilt body for use as accommodation.

Campervans may be equipped either with a "pop-up" roof which is raised during camping or a fixed roof, either shared with the commercial van that forms the basis of the vehicle (commonly a "high-top" model), or as part of a custom coachbuilt body.

Campervans usually have a small kitchen with a refrigerator (which is often powerable by a choice of gas, battery, or mains electricity) and a two-burner gas hob and grill. They generally have dual-voltage lighting which can work from either a dedicated battery (other than the van battery) known as a deep-cycle or leisure battery, or from AC power, supplied at a campsite via a hook-up cable

Covertible  Roof can be Removed

Convertible cars are the cars whose roof line can be removed or refitted as required. Generally it’s available in high end luxury vehicles. Electro mechanical devices are used for step by step folding of the roof lines. In earlier vehicles leather material were used. In modern vehicles the metal roof lines with design of folding part by part and eventually rest on/in trunk part of the vehicle. Operating of a button is good enough for folding or putting back the roof linings.

Convertibles are more frequently used in cold countries wherein weather temperature is quite less and also roads have lesser dusty conditions. It’s purely a preferred choice for persons with passion of using stylish cars and the feel of air in hair when driving vehicle.

In India also there are quite a number of convertible cars available and till date it’s the most demanded design for the customers looking for modification in their cars. However as most of Indian road conditions are hot, hard top sedans are preferred more.

Some of the examples for convertible cars are Mercedes SL Class and Mini Cooper Convertible.

It could be super mini, or a larger one. The design is same but interior size and luggage space varies. Manufacturers constantly try their best to make improvements to their product range. For example, the boot space of the new Hyundai Grand i10 is more from the first generation i10.
